Regal and refined with an oversized nib and barrel, the Custom Urushi fountain pen boastsa two-toned nib size 30 made of 18K gold and rhodium. The impressive, nib size is designed for maximum impact and is significantly more expansive than the size 15 nib of the Custom 823.

The Custom Urushi is craftedfrom black ebonite and lacquered with pure Urushi lacquer (a natural sap) by Japanesemaki-e artisans.Like their Namiki pens, Pilot uses a lacquering technique called Roiro, which requires substantial time and skill to create a uniform and mirror-like finish.Each Custom Urushi pen barrel is lacquered, cured and polished three times to create an exquisite finish in combination with luxurious custom gold elements.
